Corrections Policy
Consumerlite News is committed to accuracy, transparency, and accountability. If we publish information that is inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or unclear, we aim to review the issue and correct or clarify the material when appropriate.
How to Request a Correction
Readers may request a correction by emailing news@consumerlite.co. Please include the article title, article URL, publication date if available, and a clear explanation of the issue.
What to Include
To help us review a correction request, include the specific sentence, claim, date, name, number, quotation, or context you believe is inaccurate. Supporting documentation, official sources, or direct references are helpful.
Review Process
Correction requests are reviewed based on available evidence, source material, reporting notes, public records, official statements, and relevant context. Consumerlite News may contact the reader or source for additional information when necessary.
Corrections
When a factual error is confirmed, Consumerlite News may correct the article and may add a correction note explaining the change. The form of the correction depends on the nature and seriousness of the error.
Clarifications
When information is accurate but could be clearer, more complete, or better contextualized, Consumerlite News may add a clarification rather than a correction.
Updates
Developing stories may be updated as new information becomes available. Updates are different from corrections and may reflect additional reporting, new statements, or later developments.
Contact
Correction requests may be sent to news@consumerlite.co.
